Year 12 students consistently achieve outstanding results, and in 2021 we concluded with 100% SACE completion across the cohort. Approximately 93% of students gain entry into tertiary institutions. Numeracy results are above Regional and State averages. Our NAPLAN (National Assessment Plan - Literacy and Numeracy) results are well above National, Regional and State averages in Grammar, Reading, Spelling and Writing.
Mitcham Girls High School has a strong academic focus and a very proud record of academic achievement. The school offers a wide range of subjects and co-curricular activities, encourages excellence at all levels and develops an awareness of the changing choices available to women in our society. The school was established in 1964 and has a very proud history, with many alumni having pursued successful careers in medical, scientific, artistic and business fields.
